More Bardolatry than you could Shake a spear at

What a week.

I spent the majority of the time since my last post at rehearsals for Ninagawa's Comedy of Errors, or on trains getting to Saitama to do so. It's just wonderful. I'll probably post my review of it here, but I'm still working on it. For the book, dontcha know. I also got my hands this week on a dvd of Nina's 12th Night at the Kabukiza, and his recent Hamlet and Richard III in Saitama.

Meantime I was also invited to see a Noh-fusion production of The Scottish Play by Matsuoka Kazuko, who I got to know sitting in on rehearsals in Saitama. The show was fascinating - I got it on DVD, too, along with their female King Lear and their Winter's Tale - and I was delighted to see the company, "Ryutopia", because I've been looking for them. So Shakespeare-a-RAMA, at the moment.

Meantime I've been updating my iTunes (in preparation for the purchase, soon I hope, of an iPod video...) and listening to strange Greek music. As one does.

Happy Chinese New Year, also. Can I commandeer it and make it Year of the Bitch??

Will your book have pretty pretty pictures? Please say yes.

Oh, and I love my iPod video! But what's sad is that I was more excited about the case I bought for it. http://pixelgirlshop.com/

Haha my book will have gorgeous photos, provided I can convince them to give me permission to print them. Ideally I want it to be a coffee-table-worthy publication!!
